Mulgrew doubtful I think it said in the paper today.
Are the tickets 15 quid again this year?

Aye £15, shocking price, yet expectant.
If Mulgrew is unavailable I may be tempted to go with Lowry in the middle with Carvill going right and Aaron Burns coming in to play left wing. Although if JP Gallagher was fit I would play him left back and play Curran left mid.

No thanks.

No pleasing some people from Bohs away Gaulty has been playing well did very well against Coleraine and Cliftonville the other night people think because he isnt the same type of player to Mulgrew means he isnt as good or capable to fill in for Jamie. Gaultys a tough tackling battling midfielder its what we need in there against Portadown a ball winner.Otherwise Can't drop Noel on his previous performances im also tempted to start Mark up front on his recent performances but Herman has been playing well aswell.
Blayney
BJB
Ballie
Dougie
Curran/Burns
Lowry
Garrett
Gault
Carvill
Thompson
McAllister/ Herman

I just think we are a little slow at the back to play bailie and winkie.

Why can't we just drop Thompson and play McAllister and Munster. It's not like Thompson deserves a start, he was dreadful against Cliftonville.

Would go with that, though Thompson's record in the Irish Cup is unbelievably good.
Gault was anonymous against both Crusaders and Cliftonville, he was very good for the games against Bohemians and Coleraine but thats been about it for the season.

He played well against Cliftonville I thought him and ribs battling and fighting in there for the win.

Again I thought he was awful that night. Would probably let him move on.

There was plenty of interest in him last summer when he was out of contract so I don't think suggesting there might be again would be too unfeasible.

Was a decent player last year though. Horribly inconsistent these days. How a player can do that I'll never know. I think his performance against Cliftonville at Windsor live on sky 2 years ago (0-0 was it?) was one of the best individual performances I've seen from a Linfield midfielder.
Im praying for fucking rain this week and the winds to change......

Portadown played well, were on top for the majority of the game. Just couldn't get past the finish line.

Were A4 cards used for that card display? Looked like it from the photo, which is possibly why it didn't work like the last one.

Although I don't think it worked as well as the previous attempt I don't think it went too bad....

It may have helped if they had instructions as to what to do with it. Many felt it was an opportunity to create a cardboard aeroplane and attempt to take peoples eyes out. However the majority had common sense and did what it was created for.

I didn't know it was a card display tbh, I thought it was just a load of blue shirts. Wouldve looked good with a bit of red in it. The printiong on cards is expensive, do you not reemember the fundraising done for the last one? Donations from ILS etc.
I priced up cards for a card display before. The amount it costs is reachable, we spend thousands of pounds a year on doing displays, but it would take a lot of effort. The money poured into printed cards could go towards lots of flags, banners, smokes etc which also give good effect.
I remember the IFA asked us to do one a few years ago. They bought loads of paper etc, but we refused. The paper the provided us with was A4 too ffs!

Totally impossible to organise a display in that stand, with the added fact the sheets were A4. Hence why we use alternatives.

I thought the '11' looked quite good, always appreciate it when someone bothers to arrange a card display like that, looked well.
